I want surprise my mother in-law with a new car for Christmas. How far in advance should I book my car transport? I'm transporting the car from Philadelphia, PA to San Diego, CA.

You should book your car transport at least 2-3 weeks in advance, especially during the holiday season.  You might want to request expedited car shipping.
