My son is shipping his motorcycle and I’m not sure if he will need to purchase insurance.  Does the bike need to be insured during transport?

Make sure you thoroughly understand coverage policy your transport will include. Many shippers offer insurance beyond what your private policy may cover. It is suggested that you review your own policy and get the transporters policy in writing and review it carefully so that you are 100% sure that your bike is covered fully.
