I recommend a shipping company that offers enclosed shipping carriers. An important concern is insurance.  When choosing a shipping company, insurance is an important issue.  Ask your shipping agent about their insurance coverage cost if you don’t want to use your personal insurance. Ask about how much coverage is allowed in the event of any damages to your motorcycle during shipping.  Also, make sure that you review the contract before your motorcycle ships.  And make sure you agree with the terms and conditions of shipping your vehicle as well as the insurance.

More importantly, make sure that you select a motorcycle shipping company that you can trust.

From the beginning you should know when your motorcycle shipping service will deliver your bike, the exact place and time.  There are thousands of motorcycle shipping providers. Choose a shipping company that knows exactly how to take care of your bike because you don’t want to deal with a motorcycle shipping company that will damage your bike.

Your motorcycle shipping company should be able to give you an adequate quote on prices as well as details about the services that are offered. Make sure that there is a customer service department where you can ask questions and reach someone if you have any comments. Find out what is the cancellation policy and the details of the contract are important as well. Expect to get all the details in writing.

You are basically leaving your prized possession in the hands of a complete stranger. Make sure you find a company that can fulfill the promise to deliver your bike on time at the exact location specified, safely.  Also, make sure that the shipping company will be hand your bike with care during the loading and unloading. Make sure that you invest in additional insurance.  Don’t try to cut corners in order to save money.
