If I ship a car overseas and then fly there by the time the car arrives, will I be able to pick it up on my own?

Sure. You will need to show your driver’s license and passport (with either a visa or an entry stamp showing you’re legally allowed into the country). If you have an international driver’s license from the AAA, bring it along, but technically your American license should be enough.

If you ship your car in a shared container, you will be allowed to pack the goods in car. These products are sent at your own risk and may not be insured. You also necessary to include the last 6 digits of the VIN on the vehicle packing list.
