Some companies allow you to keep a certain amount of personal belongings in the trunk when you ship the car. Other companies do not. Check in advance. Aside from that, you are required to remove antennas, luggage and ski racks, trailer hooks and any accessories that can get caught or cause damage to the other vehicles in the truck.
