Were you aware that there are several different enclosed carriers for securing your vehicle transport? Four-car, six-car, and unstacked two-car carriers are some of the enclosed carrier selections. Many auto transporters will deliver your exotic car right to your doorstep (so-to-speak) but of course, like everything, this comes with additional cost.

With an exotic car, you should use an enclosed carrier, which may be more expensive, but would save your car from any damages. To be on the safe side, get insurance in case anything happens to your vehicle. Many shipping companies offer insurance as an option. Make sure that the auto transport company that you choose has insurance of their own when shipping your car.

Here are a few things that will help you to ‘save’ your car from damage: Make sure that the car transport service you choose is able to show that they have the proper tie down equipment to reduce the effects of vibration during transport.  Because this can cause hoses to rupture or even cause a chassis to fracture.

Also, if the auto is crated then the car must be secured to the bottom of the crate and some form of padding must be used between the automobile and the crate’s sides.  It is advisable that you make sure that all the fluids in the car are drained before shipping because many auto shipping companies will no longer accept cars (especially for international shipping) unless this is done.

It is advisable to find an auto shipping company that has experience in shipping ‘exotic’ cars.   An expensive car such as yours need to be handled an auto transport service that has knowledge of how to get your car to its destination in the same condition it was in before it was shipped.

It is a good idea to choose an auto transporter that has been in business for a while and have specialized enclosed carriers for exotic cars and these carriers keep your vehicle protected from sun, rain and anything in the environment that could damage your vehicle.

Some of these enclosed carrier selections that are available are: four-car, six-car, and unstacked two-car carriers. If you don’t have a problem with paying additional cost, there are even auto transporters that will deliver your car right to your door - this is known as door-to-door.
