A car shipping company wanted me to meet them at a nearby shopping center parking lot to pick up my car. This is very strange. I thought about going to the police. This company could be luring women to meet them in strange places. What do you suggest I do?  I know that I'm not the most attractive person ...but I don’t want to wind up on the 6:00 news for being kidnapped.

There's no need to worry. Car shipping companies often ask their customers to meet them at a near by parking lot because most trucks are not permitted drive in most residential areas.
