When transporting an RV makes sure that doors including cabinet doors and windows are taped or tied closed securely. Also make sure that antennas, propane gas bottles, sheds are removed and placed away from the unit. Remove all pictures and mirrors hanging on the walls.   Never leave hazardous materials in your RV during transport.  This includes gas or oil tanks, ammunition of any kind, or any other materials, which is considered to be hazardous. If you are unsure ask your transporter.

Here are a few important things to know about shipping an RV:

Transporters accept cash, credit cards, or certified funds for the deposit. They normally accept the balance in the form of cash or certified funds, unless other arrangements have been made with them in advance.

Deposits are normally accepted in the form of credit card, money orders or certified check, and sometimes even cash. Usually, the only form of payment accepted for the remaining balance due on delivery is cash, money orders or any other form of certified funds. Check with your transporter to be sure of their payment policies.
