I accidentally gave the car shipping company the wrong delivery address. I didn't realize this until the day of delivery. So, I called the company and gave them the correct address. As a result, the dumb truck driver was 30 minutes late. This caused me to be late to an important meeting. Shouldn't the car shipping company reimburse me for the inconvenience?

I don’t mean to sound rude but it’s not the truck driver’s fault that he was late. If you gave the car shipping company the correct address from the beginning, then he wouldn’t have been late. To answer your question, no, I you shouldn’t be reimbursed.

Here's a couple of questions for you. Were you charged an additional charge for giving them the wrong information? Why would you refer to the truck driver as dumb?

No, they didn't charge me. I showed up at the office and demanded to speak to the manager. After ranting and raving, they waived the fee for me. I guess they just wanted me to leave. The manager was very nice and explained to me that they ask customers to give accurate information to avoid situations like mine. I admit that I was wrong for referring to the truck driver as dumb. I was angry because I was late for an important meeting.
