I paid good money to have my vehicle shipped door-to-door and the trucker refused to deliver my car directly in front of my house. He gave some pathetic excuse about how his truck couldn't fit down the street. I was forced to walk down the street to pick up my car in the pouring rain mind you. Don't I deserve some sort of discount or reimbursement from the car shipping company?

If you live in a neighborhood with narrow streets, a truck driver will have difficulty maneuvering his truck safely. It’s unfortunate that you had to walk all the way down the street ---but this is standard procedure for car shipping companies. In this case, a car carrier is not obligated to offer their customers discounts.

Sorry that your experience with door-to-door shipping didn't work out. A lot of customers take the term door-to-door shipping out of context. The service offers delivery of your vehicle as close to your home or office as humanly possible. Many people find this service very convenient.
